The director of the movie is Ajay Devgan who also acted very well in this movie and his co-star in the movie is his wife Kajol. The theme of the movie was that love and to live a love life with spouse requires many sacrifices and compromises and to help and support each other in need of hour. U Me Aur Hum is divided into 2 parts. The first half is basically a simple love story of how Ajay (Ajay Devgan) and Priya (Kajol) who met in a cruise. Although the first impression of Ajay was disastrous but later he wins the heart of Priya and two soon develop a bond of love. The second half tells us that marriage is a long term bond of happy memories and emotional crisis. Priya caught victim of a psychological disorder and it was a difficult stage of their relationship. For a directorial debut, Ajay Devgan has done a good job.
The music by Vishal Bharadwaj is very good and alluring. The title track U Me Aur Hum and the dance number Jee Le were marvelous. Kajol performed brilliantly and apperaded lively on screen and is the soul of the movie. The friends of this couple were interesting characters.  Overall, U Me Aur Hum is a good movie.
