Tere Bin Laden was shot Mumbai and Hyderabad which bore close similar to Karachi. To add to the validity Pakistani hoardings, products, typical radio sets and even costumes were flown down. Also a critical scene in the film required a truck, which is from a distinctive art on trucks found in Pakistan where drivers decorate their trucks like brides.

Ali Zafar sung two songs of this movie and this music  according to Zafar. His solo songs are I Love Amreeka and Ullu Da Pattha is his duet with Shanker Mahadevan.
