Irfan Khan would be playing the role of a man trapped in the phone booth that was actuallay played by Colin Farell in the Hollywood movie. Sanjay Dutt would be seen in the role of the cop. It is reported that Sunjay Dutt went of Ketosis diet to lose weight for this movie. Kangana Renaut would be adorning new look as she would be seen in a short hairstyle and not in her usual, curly hair. Her role would be of a crime reporter.

Rumour has it that Knockout will not be featuring any Hindi songs Strange but true as the since songs add an essence to the Hindi movies.
