Like many super stars of Bollywood John Abraham also decides to show his singing talent in his upcoming movie Aashayein. Music of the movie is given by Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant under the music label of T-Series. The movie refers to all the wishes a man wants to fulfill before he dies.  John Abraham played a role of angry, gorgeous, and confused but a compulsive gambler. He won Rs. 20 million in a bet and now wants to enjoy the life with his live. In a party thrown in celebration of his success he proposed Sonal Sehgal and announce to be get engaged soon. Sonal Sehgal is a new face introduced in the movie by Nagesh Kukunoor, the director of movie and casted her against John in a lead role. Ashwin Chitale plays comic role in the movie and he wants to fill every ones life with happiness and spread smiles every where. When John knows about his severe condition and that he cannot live more than 3 months he decided to spend the remaining days with great joy and colors all around instead of wasting days in dark and sadness. Shukriya Zindasi is sung beautifully by Shafqat Amanat Ali in sad version too depicting the real emotions of character.
