Udan is a new forthcoming Bollywood film which is completely based on a family drama. This drama is bringing up in front by super hit producer Anurag Kashyap along with his mates Ronnie Screwala and Sanjay Singh, while they are supported and co-produced by Deven Khote, Zarine Mehta, Aarti Bajaj, Siddarth Roy Kapur and Vikas Bahl. Apart from all these producers and supporters however it is merely directed by single entity Vikramaditya Motwane who is a new and talented director. Besides the big bodies of the film the casts signed for the project is quite simple and not that much well known in Bollywood industry as it includes Rajat Barmecha, Ronit Roy, Aayan Boradia, Ram Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Anand Tiwari, Suman Mastkar, Raja Hudda, Varun Kehttry, Shaunak Sengupta and Akshay Sachdev. Amit Trivedi is gifted to compose pleasant tunes for the track numbers in the film written by duo-lyricists Amitabh Bhattacharya and Anurag Kashyap himself, while Amit chosen quite fine melodious singers for the tracks including Joi Barua, Neuman Pinto, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Mohan, Raman Mahadevan, Bonnie Chakraborty, Kshitij, Shriram Ayyar, Toshi, Anurag Kashyap and Amit Trivedi himself will be singing for a track number. Poles apart from producing, singing and lyristcs, Anurag are also serving the project by carrying the storyline for the film with his company side by Vikramaditya Motwane.

Besides all the casts and crews of the film, the theme of the project is quite simple and important in its own nature as it is about a student who spent eight straight long years in a boarding school. After completing his initial education in boarding school he wished to become a writer but when he returned to his hometown Jamshedpur where his father has a steel factory forcing him to study engineering so that he should support his father in his business. So the story is quite simple as this student will sort out this puzzle and deal with the circumstances arising by his own father for him, whether he will compromise with himself or will go by his own will to become a writer.
