To depict the real on reel, Bollywood’s new found trend carry on with Pankh – a new directorial venture from Sanjay Gupta’s White Feathers Films. The film is based on the true story of many child artists of film industry who suffer mental dilemma and identity crises because of cross dressing.

The film Pankh portrays sexuality misconstrued that affects the child’s psychology. This phenomenon is very peculiar and common in children from film industry who are forced to play a character that is totally opposite to their original being. Pankh is the tragic story of a boy who is paraded as a girl but he hates to do it. It is all about his struggle to denounce that and assert his heterosexuality .
