Dil bole hadippa, a romantic comedy by Yash raj films is set to be released on September 18, 2009. The film features rani mukherjee and shahid kapoor in main roles. In the film, rani hails from a small village and sets out to accomplish her dreams of playing cricket. She assumes a disguise of a sardar in order to play. Later on she falls in love with the team captain, shahid kapoor. Other cast in the movie are sherlyn chopra (shahid’s girlfriend and model), anupam kher and rakhi sawant. The film somewhat resembles the plot of Amanda bynes and channing tatum starrer she’s the man. There was also the dispute between sanjay leela bhansali and yash raj films over title as bhansali had already bought rights  for title ‘hadippa’, the original title of the film.
