Aladin and the Mystery of the Lamp – Bollywood version of Arabian Nights

Aladin & The Mystry of Lamp is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Sujoy Ghosh who directed films like Jhankar Beats and Home Delivery in the past. The man has been filled with excitement and gung-ho about his next project Alladin & The Mystry of Lamp. According to his latest talks with the media, the movie seems to be a present day version of the Arabian Nights. The star cast of the film is all pure shimmers and glitters of Hindi film cinema including Amitabh Bachan, Reteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Miss SriLanka Jacqueline Fernandez and Juhi Chawala.

Reteish is playing the title role of Alladin in the film Alahdin and the most powerful role of mischievous Genie is played by Amitabh. Sanjay Dutt is appearing as a ring master in the movie Alladin . Initially it was all confirm that Aysha Takia, beauty with charming long hair and captivating smile is the most suitable person to play the lead role of Jasmine ( Alladin’s princess) in the film Alladin but things did not work as expected.

The rumors of Aysha’s walking out of the film are in the air and what is the reason behind it? is again another sensitive topic with lot of speculations. Aysha worked with Ghosh in Home Delivery and according to the bubbly actress, “Its all pure fun and enjoyment to work with Sujoy Ghosh and in future I will love to have this beautiful experience of working with Sujoy”. According to Bollywood sources the only reason behind Aysha’s withdrawal from this project is the fee of the actress that she was demanding for the film Aladin . This project Alladin & The Mystry of Lamp was supposed to be produced by Ramesh Sippy and Rohan Sippy along with Adlabs but now they have dissociated from the film Alladin & The Mystry of Lamp and now Sujoy is not in position to fulfill Aysha’s demand for the film Alladin . Sujoy Ghosh will produce this film himself and buzz is that Eros Entertainment might help Sujoy in financing the film Aladen.
