Action Replay
Produced and directed by vipul shah, the film ‘action replay’ casts big names such as aishwariya rai bachan, akshay kumar and neha dhupia. The film is supposed to show akshay as a aged man living in Mumbai of 50’s and becoming younger. The film does show an overall similarity to three Oscar winning ‘the curious case of Benjamin button’ and Warner bros. has warned of legal action if Benjamin button is copied however vipul shah has retaliated with also legal threats. Leaving this aside, the film is said to be comedy rather than serious drama. The film will release in 2010 and till then the excitement that akshay’s and aishwariya’s have sparked with their second film as a couple will certainly keep us sitting on edges of our seats.
