Computer Science has seen many major breakthroughs since its inception. Especially in this decade, computer programming has tried to compete with human being and Artificial Intelligence is likely to pass the Turing Test. Researchers at Carnegie-Mellon university in Pittsburgh have developed a new program that will help detect the location of a given picture. The program requires a picture to perform its operations and processes it according to some attributes like color, texture and lines etc to tell where the picture was taken. It matches the data retrieved from the image with already present 6million tagged images on Flickr. The accuracy of the program is 16% which is still better than human guesstimates or random guess. It works better in judging famous places like Eiffel Tower.
