Big B once again to support Polio eradication

Bollywood celebrities are very active for social causes and are humanitarians as well. Among them, Big B is a leading personality who is trying to eradicate social problems in India and introduce hygienic living. He has been the active campaigner for polio and has worked very hard to eradicate polio from the country. He is very much concerned to eradicate polio from the country. This year, UNICEF officials have again requested him to help them in the cause. Amitabh Bachan is the official ambassador of UNICEF.

He says “I have worked tirelessly for the eradication of polio in certain distinct parts of our country, namely Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.” Polio is a disease that imparts permanent disability of legs and children are most likely to be the victim. Mr Bachan is actively engaged in eradication of polio with the help of UNICEF since 2002. In 2005, he was promoted to goodwill ambassador for HIV/AIDS and polio.

UNICEF is putting great efforts to remove this disease from the world and specially from India. Amitabh Bachan will once again extend his efforts for the noble cause. We must say that give awareness of polio to unprivileged people yourself to promote a healthy India.

Big B Turned 67 this October

The hot favorite superstar of Bollywood and the King of Kings Amitabh Bachan celebrated his 67th birthday on 11th October 2009. The star has ruled Indian film industry for decades and has many excellent movies in his credit. He is the trendsetter in movies and is a source of inspiration for many newcomers.

Amitabh Bachan who is also known as Big B is still popular and hosts the show ‘Big Boss 3′. His new movie ‘Aladin’ will be released soon in which he will be playing the role of Genie. The man was born to a Hindi poet Dr. Harvinash Rai Bachan and started his film career in 1969. His initial films didn’t click the audience but than his stars rose and he triggered success.

Big B has ruled Indian film industry for four decades.He says that now he can’t play playboy roles anymore and will do roles that suit a 67 year old man.

Big B writes about Katrina in his blog

Blogging has become a flying colors phenomenon in recent two years and almost every one likes to be a blogger. Even celebrities like Amitabh Bachan find time for blogging.

As a matter of fact, Amitabh Bachan is one of the most famous blogger in India because it is always a fancy to read something directly written by a hot celebrity or public figure. Amitabh has wrote about Katrina Kaif in her blog and has admired her a lot. That blog is more than a nostalgic writing of a person who was close to Karina even in the start of her career. He writes that Katrina met him in the recent GQ awards and placed a ‘Hey, its me’  finger on his shoulders. Suddenly, he recalled all the moments belonging to the pretty girl.

He recollected that how a shy girl on the sets of Boom maintained to be such a rising Bollywood star. Further he shares that he was the first person who showed her that how she looks onscreen and she is always grateful to her for that.
