Preity Zinta Appointed For UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador

UNAIDS is a an American campaign launched by United Nations on HIV / AIDS issues, The campaign is making efforts and resources for the prevention of HIV Infections all over world and to create awareness among peoples for the  impact of HIV on environment and their lives. Preity Zinta has been selected as an Ambassador for creating awareness with respect to AIDS. It is also said that Preity Zinta will take benefit from IPL Cricket tournament and will illustrate awareness about HIV AIDS, its treatment.

Preity Zinta also said in a show that she will create awareness about this dangerous disease along with Yuvraj singh. The Red Ribbon will be the symbolic representation of UNAIDS, As preity Zinta is also the co-owner of King XI Punjab, so all team players will also support the red ribbon and also the major announcement which is 25 percent of the proceeds will be given for the UNAIDS awarness programme.

Dr. Charles Gilk who is the Coordinator of UNAIDS also said about preity zinta that ” Today, I am very pleased to appoint Preity Zinta as UNAIDS Special Representative through her determination to make a difference.
